Being Progressive means to go beyond society's views and helping victims that are in need. It's moving forward from the present and start building the future generation.
The meaning behind our Progressive Project
My group was assigned Women Empowerment as our topic. During the research stage we found a lot of articles about teenage girls and how that is the point of origin that women are at their lowest point in

How Would I Improve Progressive Day We definitely over estimated how much time we had and weren't able to get as much as we thought done before Progressive day. We got everything done before exhibition though. Also, I wish that there was more interaction with the appreciation board. We got more people participating than we thought we would but looking back I wish we would've filled the board.
Final Reflection
At the beginning of this project I was not a little bit excited. I thought it was going to be another project where we say we are going to do something big to help a community and we end up running out of time and not finishing. I was struggling with research and interviews because I didn't really know the point of doing all of that because I didn't know what our final project outcome was going to look like. I wasn't motivated what so ever. When we got to creating ideas my attitude changed. I knew that the possibilities were limitless. That got me really excited because usually projects always have limits. Once we figured out that we were going to make a mural there wasn't a day that I didn't work. My group and I were constantly doing something for this project. I believe that our final product is very useful because it helps spread positivity towards others in a way that in genuine and not forced. But I know there could have been better ways of bringing this positive vibe into our world. We could have done this on a larger scale, maybe outside of the high tech community. But overall, I am proud of our outcome. Knowing that I was motivated by the outcome of my project it makes me see the true value of the progressive challenge because each individual was just as motivated as us I believe. They were working with a topic that they were passionate about and they created something special not only because it was an assignment but because it was something they had the choice to do. The idea of Progressiveness in our world is an inspiring thing. To know that people decided to change something in their daily lives to help the world move forward from a dark time is truly amazing. Makes me believe that anything is possible and that the human race isn't totally crap.
